Anayeli Nuñez (BA ’19) combined her love of history with her Spanish-speaking skills during an internship with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). There, she translated information into Spanish and created resources to help English-speaking staff support Spanish speakers. She also worked with historians at the agency on their photo archive, which eventually inspired her own immigration research project that won a Luther Rice Undergraduate Research Fellowship.
